WOMEN, GIRLS + CLIMATE JUSTICE
Our 2021 Climate of Hope forum focused on Women, Girls, and Climate Justice. Our speakers shed light on how the climate emergency disproportionately impacts girls and women and the essential work that they do.
Listen to women's stories of climate impacts, climate activism, building climate resilient communities, and working for social and environmental justice as they explore the intersection of sexism, racism, classism, and other oppressions.

CLIMATE OF HOPE 2020
Regeneración hosted its second Climate of Hope Forum, this time analyzing how rising temperatures are affecting our whole agricultural community, while also putting farmworkers at the center of climate planning and adaptation. The event announced the results of a small recent survey conducted on climate impacts on local farms in the Pajaro Valley and included the voices of farmworkers, growers, educators, health specialists, and legislators.

Inspiring community
Regeneración works with community partners to inspire everyone in the Pajaro Valley to respond locally to the global challenge of a changing climate. We co-create relevant and relatable climate solutions with the people most at risk from climate impacts.

THINK ABOUT US
Our climate has changed. Listen to Watsonville youth talk about what the changing climate means for us in the Pajaro Valley and what we can do to respond to this challenge together.
October 2019
Climate change is a social justice issue because the people who’ve done the least to cause the problem are suffering first and most from its effects, which include droughts, floods, fires, sea level rise, stronger storms, heat waves, and melting of glaciers and permafrost.
