Uriel G.

Uriel G. is a student at Pajaro Valley High School and lives in the community of Watsonville. Uriel is involved in Watsonville Wetlands Watch, where he educates about wetlands and helps restore them. He also is involved in Empower Watsonville where he’s a youth advocate for tobacco prevention and mental health.   
Uriel mentions why he decided to participate in the Photo Voice project:

“I felt like it was a different and powerful way to explore my community. I am able to show and tell struggles and stories using photos which is a unique experience.”
