We're excited to introduce our new staff members joining the Regeneración team, Jocelyn Mercado and Natalie Olivas! Jocelyn will be joining us as our new Office Assistant, working to assist the organization with donations, volunteer coordination, and other operational tasks.
Although our office is closed at this time, our dedicated staff and volunteers are working remotely to engage the community through new platforms, creating educational content, and virtually organizing to continue our fight for a better environment.
Stay tuned for how you can get involved in new and innovative ways to support our local community and create a stronger, healthier, and more resilient Pajaro Valley.
Natalie Olivas joined Regeneración in February as the new Community Organizer. She is a recent graduate of California State University Monterey Bay where she studied Environmental Studies with a concentration in Science for Sustainable Communities. In the past month, she has performed outreach at multiple community events, recruited volunteers, and spoke at Watsonville's International Women's Day Event. She plans to leverage her experience in sustainability planning and outreach to serve the Pajaro Valley and build the movement for a more just and equitable future for all.
